For example, when somone in the same crowd as you starts a new conversation, you may be notified by email so that you are aware of the conversation and can respond in a timely manner.

4Crowd.com provides extensive email alert settings controls so that you can setup the events for which you want to be notified. These controls extend globally, to specific crowds, and to specific conversations.
